Couch to 5K

This is exactly what it sounds like, a plan to move you from a sedentary couch
potato to a runner who can complete a 5K without stopping. You can also download
the C25K mobile app and have it do the work of timing for you.

JEFIT

JEFIT is a workout tracker available on Android and iOS, with a large exercise
database and the ability to tailor individual workouts to your preferences. The app
will also time your rest intervals and give you end-of-workout summaries. For an
added boost of confidence, it will notify you when you've broken your own personal
records.

MyFitnessPal

MyFitnessPal is an online calorie counter with apps available for Android and iOS.
Search the database to find the calorie and macronutrient values of the foods you
eat, or scan the barcode of your foods with your phone's built in camera. Either
way, MyFitnessPal is a great tool for tracking what you eat and changing your
eating habits in order to reach your personal goals.

OrthoInfo

OrthoInfo is a trusted source of information about musculoskeletal conditions and
injuries — how they are treated, as well as how they can be prevented. All of the
content on the website is peer-reviewed by physician members of the OrthoInfo
Editorial Board who are experts in their fields. This peer-review process ensures
the accuracy and completeness of the content.

Weight Lifting 101

This a a good starter guide for anyone who is looking to shape their body
or improve their strength by lifting heavy things. The StrongLifts 5x5 program
(linked near the bottom of the page) is one of the most popular workout
routines for beginners, and it's offered for free without any strings attached.
Click on "Success Stories" at the top of the page for some inspiration.
