The Bergen Chess Mates provides a quiet, relaxing place for local chess
players to gather for ”over the board” tournament matches.  The club is a
great outlet for friendly competition at the world’s most challenging board
game. 

No previous knowlege of Astronomy is necessary to join one of the East
Coast's premier astronomy clubs. The RAC provides help for those buying
their first telescope, as well as lectures,star-gazing meetings, and more.

The Rockland Audubon Society provides lectures, field trips, and other
resources for the avid birder. Get together with fellow enthusiasts and share
your sightings.

The RBC hosts regular rides all year long, and their casual ride series is
open to cyclists of all levels. The Club also runs training clinics on hill
climbing, endurance, sprinting and other skills as well as seminars that
cover topics like bike maintenance, effective shifting and group riding.

Membership in the Rockland Photography Club is open to all photography
enthusiasts, from novices to professional photographers. Club members
participate in field trips and meetings. Meetings feature diversified programs,
talks by experts, workshops, model shoots, critiques and monthly competitions.

Rockland Road Runners is an organization for runners in and around
Rockland County, NY. They promote fitness, friendship, competition, and
charity. RRR hosts local races plus has a racing team that competes in New
York Road Runner races and other events.

Toastmasters provides a supportive and positive learning experience in which
members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting
in greater self-confidence and personal growth.
