The Arts Council of Rockland promotes and encourages the arts in our
diverse community and strives to create a climate in which creative
expression flourishes and is experienced by all. ACOR facilitates and
coordinates programs, support services, publications for the entire
community in the interest of enhancing the cultural life in Rockland
County.
Founded in 1999, designboom is the world's first online design and architecture
magazine, publishing the latest news and key issues in all aspects of design,

GARNER provides unique and vibrant performance, gallery and creative
space and presents artistic programs of exceptional merit for the benefit of
a multi-cultural population. Their mission is to preserve the sanctity of the
original textile mill buildings and creekside landscape, while offering an
inspired setting which honors individual expression in a modern age.

The MOCA site is host to hundreds of world-class digital artists and thousands
of their images, all available for viewing here. It is one of the most
heavily-trafficked, comprehensive, frequently-updated and respected computer art
museums on the Web. It tries to keep abreast of the latest and best in digital
art. Both beginning and advanced artists frequently visit here, if only to see
what the competition is doing. It is a learning experience for artists
of all skill levels, and for the viewing public as well.
