Other Questions
When will you have a better idea of when various things will become available?
We are basing our phasing on recommendations provided by our library system. Please continue to check back for the most up-to-date available services and timeframes as we continually update this page.
When the building re-opens to patrons, what safety precautions will be in place? What about restrooms? Social distancing of 6 feet between patrons and/or staff is required. Facemasks must be worn by all patrons except for children under three years of age. Occupancy will be limited to 6 or 7 people per floor (including staff). Plastic shields will be in place at the checkout desk. Facemasks will be made available to patrons who forget theirs, but we prefer that you bring your own. The public restroom on the main floor will be available for patron use and sanitized periodically throughout the day.
Where can I find information about the Coronavirus? There are many reliable online sources including New York State Health, The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), and information about New York Testing. Please don't hesitate to ask us CoVid questions, as well, and we will do our best to find what you need.
