Meet Judith Umlas, author of the new memoir, Soulmates & Strangers. The book describes a relationship of two pen pals across two continents and seven decades of friendship.

After being gifted a packet full of early correspondence collected by her late mother's French pen pal, Judy gained precious insights into the private thoughts of the girl who would later become her Mom. The letters cover the period 1936-1947.
