The Blauvelt Free Library and the Orangeburg Library collaborate presenting Phil Cross, who instructs in the gentle movements of the ancient Chinese art of Tai Chi. Using a chair for support, Phil virtually teaches for both mind and body to enhance energy, increase strength, sustain the immune system and reduce the effects of stress. Good for both beginners and experienced students.

Join Dr. Frank Pawlowski, a long time meditator, for this deep and engaging meditation workshop (Note: program will be held in the Library, if possible, with a Zoom backup, depending on the health environment at that time). 

Dr. Pawlowski lectures regularly on the benefits of meditation and has been practicing himself for over 40 years. During this workshop he will talk about the journey of finding lasting peace, happiness and a greater sense of well-being. Dr. Pawlowski will share a simple technique of spiritual meditation (explained and practiced during the session) that can help us achieve a lasting state tranquility found through no outer experience.  For new or advanced meditators.   

Brief Bio
Frank Pawlowski Ed.D. is an Assistant Superintendent of Business and Finance now retired from a New York State Public School District. He also filled the role of an Adjunct Professor of School Administration in the Graduate School of Education at Iona College. He has been a practitioner of meditation since 1972 and since 2004 he has been giving Workshops on the Benefits of Meditation.

Boxing for Wellness was created by Rock Steady Boxing coach, Tom Elliot for the Jewish Home Family of Norther NJ to support wellness and enhance mobility in Parkinson's Disease patients. In the advent of Covid-19, they have made the program available free to all, via a weekly Zoom link.
