The Encyclopedia Britannica, tailored for children.  

The Accelerated Reader program is designed to provide a clear pathway
for children to improve their reading skills. Books in the program are
assigned numeric values for their interest level and their "book level." The
book level score represents the difficulty of the text, presented in grade
aligned numbers so that a book with a BL of 5.5 would be appropriate for
the average fifth grader in the fifth month of school. Each book is also
assigns points, so you can set goals and reward students who achieve the
desired amount of reading.

The Common Core standards for English and Math were released in 2010,
and rookie and veteran teachers alike are striving to synthesize and apply
the new guidelines in their classroom. EngageNY has put together these
professional development kits to help with the transition. They are designed
to be used in a group setting with a facilitator (a principle or fellow teacher),
but the presentations and handouts can be equally useful individually.

The Education Department at The National WWII Museum offers resources
for teachers to help students explore the history and lessons of WWII. The 
collection utilizes an object-based learning experience, focusing on the 
museum's artifacts and archives, technology, and activities.

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum has created this rich
resource for teachers to guide them when discussing and learning about the
Holocaust in the classroom. Primary documents, lesson plans, and activities
are all available and the Museum holds teacher training workshops and
conferences, both on and off-site.

GCFLearnFree.org offers more than 180 topics, including more than 2,000
lessons, 800+ videos, and 55+ interactives and games, completely free.
Some topics include Microsoft Office, email, reading and math. Are you an
