Videographer, Craig Dudnick, presents a screening of his inspiring documentary, Alice's Ordinary People. Alice Tregay was an unsung hero of the civil rights movement. She was a fearless activist who effected extraordinary change during the period spanning the marches of Dr. Martin Luther King through the election of Barack Obama. Dudnick describes the atmosphere in Chicago that drew Alice to the cause and tells how he came to make the film. A Q&A follows the viewing.
This screening is a collaborative program sponsored by the Blauvelt, Orangeburg, Palisades, Piermont and Tappan Libraries.
